What's Behind The Widespread Obsession With Rock-Concert Screenprints

This Friday, Widespread Panic releases its much-anticipated, 320-page 'Poster Children,' a hardbound book containing more than 400 Widespread Panic posters created over the past 25 years. Designed by Grammy Award-winning designer Chris Bilheimer, the book follows the rise of the limited-edition screenprint, which is now the dominant medium in the rock-poster world.

For their article on the 'Poster Children,' which includes a slideshow of more than 30 images, Collectors Weekly interviewed half a dozen artists, a fan who's seen 200 Panic shows and owns about 150 Panic posters, and the band's bassist, Dave Schools.
