We consume an enormous amount of sugar, whether consciously or not, but it's a largely misunderstood substance. There are different kinds and different ways your body processes them all. Some consider it poison and others believe it's the sweetest thing on earth.

Sure sugars and HFCS are safe. And it is ok for companies to put it in everything we eat including bread, cheeses, meats and so forth. Can't you tell by the way obesity has gone away and people who eat low fat never have heart attacks in their 40's. It's also pure coincidence that Diabetes type II has become rampant. If we went by that junkfoodscience blog, then we all have permission to replace all the fruits we eat with gummy bears and we should be perfectly healthy.
