Presurfer reader Brian sent me this video of his dog getting really excited when he's about to eat dinner or go for a walk. He starts jumping up and down like he's on a pogo stick. It's set to Jarabe TapatÃo (the Mexican Hat Dance).

Is that stotting or prinking?
Stotting, I believe. Prinking is where the hind legs remain on the ground while the dog half-jumps with his front paws.
