Scientist Wins Both IgNobel And Nobel Prizes

Dutch scientist Andre Geim won the Nobel Prize in physics this year, for his work with graphene. Ten years ago, Geim won an IgNobel for using magnets to levitate a frog.

The Nobel Prizes are annual international awards bestowed by Scandinavian committees in recognition of the cultural and scientific advances.

The Ig Nobel Prizes are an American parody of the Nobel Prizes and are given each year for achievements that 'first make people laugh, and then make them think.'
