How Useless Is A Chocolate Teapot?

The Naked Scientists are a media-savvy group of physicians and researchers from Cambridge University, UK, who use radio, live lectures, and the Internet to strip science down to its bare essentials, and promote it to the general public.

They wanted to find out how thick the walls of a chocolate teapot would have to be to let you brew tea. They discovered that a chocolate teapot is really not very useful. How surprising!

Glad they're not using our public funding for this research! We need ours to find out if monkeys actually enjoy the art of giving, and also how to swat flies. :D

The photos make me thirsty for some chocolate tea... mmm...
