Scientists from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration are providing people with a unique insight into life at the deepest part of the Earth's oceans.
A remotely operated vehicle fitted with a camera is currently scouring parts of the Mariana Trench which reaches a maximum-known depth of 6.831 mi (10,994 m). So far, scientists have come across some
intriguing creatures.
