Bon Pascu I Un Felis Aña Nobo

Bon Pascu I Un Felis Aña Nobo means Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. It's always fun to see how people around the world celebrate the holiday season. Every culture that recognizes Christmas has its own unique traditions

The people from Curaçao are crazy for fireworks and firecrackers. On the last day of the year they have pagaras all over the city. Pagaras are super-loud, super-long strings of fireworks, which are set off all over the city, all day long on New Year's Eve. At 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) in length, the Pietermaai quarter in Willemstad has one of the biggest.
