The 116 Photos NASA Picked To Explain Our World To Aliens

If any intelligent life in our galaxy intercepts the Voyager spacecraft, if they evolved the sense of vision, and if they can decode the instructions provided, they will find 116 images that explain our planet, which by then could be long gone. The images are encoded in analog form depicting scientific knowledge, human anatomy, human endeavors, and the terrestrial environment.

I've always found it amusing that the staid Americans who designed the golden plaque, when they depicted a pair of naked human beings on it drew genitals on the man but not on the woman. Of course the drawings won't tell a hypothetical space alien much anyway, but if those aliens do figure things out, I suspect those drawings may tell them more about our society and the way we think than was intended.
