Today, Google marks what would have been legendary instrument maker Adolphe Sax's 201st birthday with a doodle. Antoine-Joseph 'Adolphe' Sax (1814-1894) was a Belgian inventor and musician who invented the saxophone. He played the flute and clarinet, and his other creations are the saxotromba, saxhorn and saxtuba.
