A purebred dog is a dog of a modern breed of dog, with written documentation showing the individual purebred dog's descent from its breeds' foundation stock.
Purebreds were born out of England 100 years ago by Victorian eugenicists. Genetics were manipulated to create new looks for dogs. These freak creations were named 'breeds.'
