At a ceremony last Tuesday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval officially granted the first license for an autonomous commercial truck to operate on an open public highway in the United States to Daimler Trucks North America.
The Freightliner Inspiration Truck is a semi truck which is the first legally operated autonomous commercial vehicle operating on highways in the United States.
