Papa Westray abd Westray are two of the Orkney Islands in Scotland. The world's shortest commercial flight takes place between these two islands. The distance is 2.8 km (1.7 mi) and the scheduled flight time, including taxiing, is two minutes, but under ideal wind condition can be completed in only 47 seconds.
