CSCL Globe is the largest container ship in the world. The vessel was launched in November 2014 and started operations for her owner China Shipping Container Lines. The ship can carry over 19,000 twenty foot containers. The ship left Shanghai, China in early December 2014 on her maiden voyage and arrived in Felixstowe, United Kingdom on 7 January 2015.
