Google's Periodic Table Of Elements

A poster of the periodic table of elements can tell you a lot about them, like their atomic numbers, atomic weights, and chemical symbols. It cannot, however, tell you how much of each element makes up the sun or how often each element is mentioned in books.

This interactive periodic table made by Google Research however, can. The table displays different types of element 'sizes' encoded as either bars or cubes. As a bonus they've added a view of electron shells, so you can see how Mendeleev's table beautifully reflects atomic structure.
