Mocona Falls: A Waterfall That Runs Parallel To The River

image credit: Viajá por tu País

Iguazu Falls may be the most popular waterfall in Argentina, but Mocona Falls take the crown for the most unique. Mocona does not follow the normal downward and forward trajectory that most waterfalls do. Instead, it runs along the length of the river with water spilling off the side into a gorge.

At 1.8 miles (3 km) long, Mocona Falls is perhaps the only waterfall in the world to run parallel to the river rather than perpendicular.

Iguazu Falls is the most famous fall in the world. I personally visit there before tours of the grand canyon with my friends. It is the most famous tourist attraction in Argentina. It’s situated on a basaltic line spanning the border between Argentina and Brazil. It’s a very best place of tourist attraction. Iguazu Falls are among the most monumental Water Falls in the world. I really like such kind of areas for visiting. I had never chance to visit Mocona Falls but after reading your blog I want to go there to inspire the natural beauty.
