The average marrying age here in the Netherlands is 30. The biggest differentiator of marriage age seems to be a country's income, with people in developed countries marrying later. How about the average marrying age in the US?
Are there regional or state influences? What seems like the right age for an average New Yorker might be way off for someone living in Idaho, for example. Whatever the explanation, be it religious values, state laws, cultural spirit, or a combination of the three, it seems that the 'norm' really depends on where you live. What Age Do People Get Married in Your State?
