The Mantis is the biggest all-terrain operational hexapod robot in the world. The 2.2-litre turbo diesel-powered British designed walking machine can be piloted or remote wifi-controlled.
While it's not quite the same system, I think Plustech of Finland were first, bigger, (not as wide a span, nor as full articulation) more powerful, and theirs is built to do real work.
