Flashmob Recreates Rembrandt's 'The Night Watch'

The Rijksmuseum is a Dutch national museum dedicated to arts and history. The Rijksmuseum was founded in The Hague in 1800 and moved to Amsterdam in 1808. The museum is currently closed for renovation since 2003. On April 13, 2013, the main building will be reopened by Queen Beatrix.

To celebrate the re-opening of the museum a flash mob was staged in a local shopping mall. It involved actors reenacting the museum's most famous work, Rembrandt's masterpiece 'The Night Watch.'
