Remember the crocodile jump from the James Bond movie 'Live and let Die'? It didn't look very impressive in the movie but stuntman Ross Kananga who did the stunt of running across the crocodile backs must have been a very brave man. Check out the amazing video.

Were they crocodiles? I'll have to look more closely at the video. The movie was set in Louisiana, so they would have been Alligators. I can't remember if there was any reason that the bad guy had crocodiles in the movie.
Look at the snouts.
According to the Internet Movie Database, the scene was filmed at Ross Kananga's crocodile farm in Falmouth, Jamaica.
But look at how vicious they're not. Alligators are fairly placid. Crocs are vicious.
If they were crocs, they were drugged.
That could also explain the lovely even pattern they formed.
I seem to remember reading that they were tied down into the straight-line formation. I guess that'd make me angry...
They are crocs. I looked at another clip from the movie. The big dude with the hook for a hand points out an alligator and tells Bond that alligators have round snouts. Then he points out a crocodile. So it is a trio of crocs that is shown in this clip because there were alligators and crocodiles in that scene.
