They're not normally known for their love of extreme sports, but these brave pooches certainly made the best of it when they took to the water. The canines took part in the third annual Surf City Surf Dog competition at Huntington Beach, California.
And although it appears the four-legged participants took some encouragement to hit the waves, the ones that did seemed to get into the surfing spirit.
