Thanks Again

I would like to thank all of you again for the good wishes while I was in hospital for surgery. I am absolutely moved that so many people I have never met in person are willing to take the time to wish me well.

Like I said yesterday, I am overwhelmed by the many reactions, not just on this site but also via e-mail. I received over 80 e-mails of people wishing me well and although I would like to thank all of you personally, I do have to take it easy for the next couple of days. Instead, I thank all of you here in this post. I also like to thank Kat from Pets Lady who offered to write some post and links (not related to her site) while I was recuperating.

Gerad, I am glad you are on the mend. Cholecystitis can be life threatening, and very unpleasant. You will be better soon. Your blog is wonderful, and I check everyday before going to work. I am curious...Did a sonographer or sonologist pick up your gall bladder issue? If so, please thank that person. I am a sonographer, and I sent a patient to the hospital yesterday with cholecystitis. If you are curious about what sonographers do, please check out my blog (copy and paste) wwwsonographersblog.blogspot.com and feel free to share on your website. I love to take care of people who are sick. I am glad you are better. Truly, Gallgizzard (Texas slang for gallbladder)

Hi Gizz. At first they couldn't find out what was the matter with me. Then they sent me to the hospital sonographer (we call them echographer here in the Netherlands) and he noticed the gallbladder issue.

He told me I had an imflammation of the bladder and it had to be removed immediately. And yes, I did thank him as well as everybody who had been very kind to me in hospital.

Hi Gerard,

Sorry to hear about that. I had the same procedure not long ago, and have the same 4 holes in my belly. Get well soon, and enjoy your new system... it just takes some getting used to.

Hi Gerard:

So glad you are feeling better and so glad to have you back. I'd be a bit lost for what to look at around the web without your input. :)
