Robert Moog (1934 - 2005) was an American pioneer of electronic music, best known as the inventor of the Moog synthesizer. In celebration of his 78th birthday, Google has created a Google doodle. The
Google logo has been incorporated into an electronic synthesiser which can be played by clicking on its keys using a mouse cursor.
You can apply different effects to the synthesized sound by tweaking the knobs to shape the wave, change oscillator pitches, mess around with the filter or envelope and more, with the numerical values for each appearing above the keyboard.

Here are some great songs that used a Moog synthesizer - http://duckduckgrayduck.com/2012/05/23/top-10-songs-that-used-a-moog-synthesizer/
I own a Mini Moog Model D. I am a big fan of the analog synthesizers. I trained at the university of Kansas on an ARP synth. I have played professionally for 30 years.
