A captcha is a type of challenge-response test used in computing as an attempt to ensure that the response is generated by a person. A common captcha requires the user to type letters or digits from a distorted image that appears on the screen. But sometimes they are so distorted you can't properly read them and you type the wrong letters. You then have to start over again and it's very annoying.
Frank Lesser - a writer for The Colbert Report - wrote a funny article for The New York Times about the frustration and anger that people experience while
using captchas.
