A house that was due to be demolished was filled with water. This is from a Swedish Norwegian show where they show how dangerous things can be in everyday situations.
It would seem to show how badly built the house was. I have seen a 100 year old plaster and lath ceiling 18'x24' stay in place with at least 6" of water on top. That's about six tons of water on a ceiling. Obviously a floor should be able to take much more load than a ceiling.

Now we know sticking a fire hose in the top of your house and letting it run is a bad idea...
