Common Cranes Fly Over Venice

Common cranes have been hand-reared to fly alongside a microlight to capture these images. Earthflight uses many different filming techniques to create the experience of flying with birds as they reveal some of the greatest natural and man-made monuments of the planet.

The BBC talk about this as if it had never been done before. It's been done several times before.

I remember a film from (probably) the 1970's where something very similar was done. It was a pretty awful film one thing I remember clearly from the film was the pilot calling "c'mon geese!"

Anybody else remember the film?
