And there's the problem with Hollywood these days. They are more concerned about creating a buzz around upcoming movies than they are about making good movies. This model is just about making money the first weekend, not about making money long term. This way most of the "big" movies are all but forgotten weeks after their release, let alone years.
With the current Hollywood model it is unlikely they will ever make another classic movie.
