What Are Eye Floaters?

Almost everyone has them. Those little blurry or fuzzy, translucent things that almost resemble a tiny bit of string which floats around happily in your eye. Usually when you try to look or focus directly on one, they float away just as quick as your eye can move.

What are they, and are they harmful?

Thanks Gerard. I've wanted to know what these were since I was a child!

I know that if you stare long enough in the clear bright sky, you'll see something moving in your eyes.

I always thought that was weird, lol.
