Waterfall Flows Upwards In Extreme Winds

Winds battering southern Australia have been so strong that spray from waterfalls south of Sydney has billowed up into the air.

That's hardly a waterfall flowing upwards now is it? Ever stood on top of a cliff when the wind is blowing straight at it? Noticed how the windspeed on the cliff top is so much higher than it is a couple of hundred yards away? So it's just that effect mafnifying the sort of spray we see blowing off the top of waves whenever we surf on a blowy day.
