This happened last Saturday here in the Netherlands in a town called Hoogersmilde. A fire broke out at the top of a TV and radio tower and some time later the mast came down. No injuries have been reported. The language in the video is Dutch.

That was more than a radio tower...were there apartments or something in the lower part? Why the large lower portion?
I don't understand Dutch, and Gerard didn't offer any more info.
Anonymous - it's a tv and radio tower. They typically have a viewing platform which is housed in the larger portion of the tower.
Don't forget, the internet is a massive repository of info, so if you didn't get all the information you wanted, try searching for it!
