The $1,200 Space Program

Space, the final frontier - and so on and so forth. We may well have become over accustomed to seeing pictures of our blue planet from space, taken from the International Space Station or one of the shuttles on its latest billion dollar mission.

However, you can also take pictures from space with the help of a helium filled balloon. The balloon was launched by six friends from a small sleepy town in the English county of Herefordshire.

Here's a video of the project.

A helium baloon can't go into space. Get real, how would that work? It can get near to space, but that's not the same thing.

Furthermore this has been done a few times before and on a lower budget.
