True Knowledge - The Internet Answer Engine
True Knowledge is an internet 'answer engine' which breaks new ground by giving direct answers to direct questions. Users can access the world's knowledge simply by asking for the information they need in a way that is completely natural to them; just as if they were talking to another human being. Instead of a list of links that may or may not be relevant to the query, the user experience is an immediate, perfect response, giving them exactly the information they are after.
Co-founder William Tunstall-Pedoe says: It doesn't give you references to articles mentioning the words in the question. It gives you the answer. Ask it when Bob Dylan's birthday is and it will simply tell you. And it if doesn't know the answer it will say it doesn't know. It doesn't know everything but as we input more information it will know more and more.

I asked it "how did Mary, Queen of Scots die?" It said "she was executed". I asked it "Was Mary, Queen of Scots beheaded?" It said it didn't have the answer...
In response to above: maybe it can't do yes or no questions?
It can for some questions. More likely, it didn't understand the word beheaded.
Sounds like the old "Ask Jeeves" search engine...It didn't work well either.
