Mondo Window is a site that aims to make life more enjoyable for air travelers. Essentially, you can access location-based content while you are flying. The site lets you individualize the airline and the number of the flight you are in, and upon doing so you will be shown what is happening right below. It's a map that tells you where you are and what you're looking at as you fly.

But surely you wouldn't be able to access the data if you were on a flight..?
@Monkey106: If your plane has wifi, you're good to go. About 1/3 of the US fleet has wifi now, and that figure will approach 100% within 3 years.
