@Bruce: Yes. Yes we do need to remember it. For Always. And while it did alter the world tragically, it is a reminder of what the enemies of freedom can do when we are not vigilant. We learn from history so it is imperative that we do not forget and that we pass on what we have learned. So remember September Eleventh, because freedom, and life, and love, can be taken away in an instant.

Good Lord, it happened 9 years ago and altered the world for the worse, do we now have to remember that oh-so-tragic incident every damn year?

We have to remember it, for we might never forget who the real terrorists are, and what they do to the world every single day. .
