Think Of The Miners

The 33 Chilean miners trapped 2,230 feet (680 meters) underground since August 5 have been told they may not be rescued until December.

Newsweek has an infographic about the only connection they have to the surface. Everything the men need to survive must fit in canisters 3.19 inches (8 centimeters) wide.

Latest I've read about it, is that there is a possibility they might get rescued early November. They've descended to 360 meter and they're planning to drill a third hole.
I can only imagine what it must be like down there. They're very lucky to have survived the accident. Most pitmen don't....
