On behalf of all Americans, Thanks, but we feel beholden to note: The flag is backwards in the photo. The blue field with the stars always goes in the upper left (as seen by the theoretical viewer).
It depends on which side of the flag the picture was taken.
I guess the real point then, is the question of whether you're standing behind us, or in front of us.
