'God Particle' Sounds Like Coins In A Wine Glass

The Higgs boson is a hypothetical, massive subatomic particle with zero electric charge whose existence would explain the masses of the elementary particles. The Large Hadron Collider, the world's largest and highest-energy particle accelerator, in Switzerland, is expected to be able to confirm or reject the existence of the Higgs boson.

Scientists at the Large Hadron Collider say they have replicated the noise that may be created when the Higgs boson particle (also called the 'God particle') is made - the sound of coins spinning in a wine glass.
