Self-Boring Coffin

Donald Scruggs of Chino, USA, was awarded a patent for a self-boring coffin.

>An easy to install burial container which takes up far less land area and greatly reduces installation labor over current burial practice by being installed at an angle rather than parallel to the surface of earth or other receiving material with the burial container mainly comprising a hull into which is placed a body or material to be buried and a means by which to provide closure for the said hull.

I realize there are many people out there who want to be buried upon death because they full expect Christ to reanimate their dessicated corpse upon his triumphant return. But gosh if there isn't something repugnant about stacking the bodies upright in tiny holes, stores in self-screwing containers. The pic that bothered me the most was where the self boring coffins were buried in a pond with little flags and/or a cross sticking up out of the water.
