London designers Francesca Rosella and Ryan Genz have created the Galaxy Dress. The Galaxy Dress will be the center piece of an exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. The museum is celebrating its 75 years and has commissioned the Galaxy Dress for their permanent collection.
The silk chiffon dress contains 24,000 full color LEDs. It's powered by tiny iPod batteries woven into the fabric to keep the dress from becoming too heavy. The dress also contains 4,000 hand-applied Swarovski crystals.

Yes, of course, that makes sense. Not.
