Drop Of Water

We've all seen water drops falling. But did you actually see what happens when the drop hits the surface of the water. High speed photography at 2,000 frames per second can change your perception of the world. This is a must see!

Now do it with different fluids with idfferent surface tensions and viscosity, or by adding surfactant to the water to change its surface tension. Then collect numerical data and relate it to a dimensionless group that describes the physics, say the capillary number. Cool video.

That was really cool. Thanks.
