Cheesipedia

Cheesipidia is all about cheese. At the moment they show a catalogue of cheese, arranged by country.

I suppose they intend to add more countries in the future because the Netherlands, the largest exporter of cheese in the world, isn't mentioned yet. So you won't find any information on Gouda or Edam.

there is more than 365 cheeses in France. Some are very local some other heve the AOC (Appelation d'Origine Controlée) witch mean checked appellation of origin. The AOC show that the cheese is make in a little erea and sometimes with a milk product by a special race of cow (for the cheese make with cow milk). AOC is importante and give a Guarantee of quality.

I don't see Spain listed either, and they produce some wonderful cheeses. Perhaps they're just getting started. www.satisfiedsole.com
