Gimme A Hug

Gimme a Hug is a short documentary from the Protect the Sharks Foundation. The documentary shows one of the most mysterious phenomena in the animal world; sharks, showing a totally different behaviour than most people would expect.

Cool trailer. I've heard about this behavior before, but it's awesome to watch this. Of course, the fact that the Shark Foundation doesn't know the difference between the words "then" and "than" was a little distracting.

Whoa! Never have seen anything like this before. Certainly does challenge the normal preconceptions about sharks. Thanks! www.satisfiedsole.com

I though sharks needed to keep moving to breathe... Also its completely different from most people would expect because most people don't know anything.

Fascinating!
(but I'll admit that I was half expecting a big scary zombie would jump out and scare the beejeezus out of me about 3/4 of the way through!)

Yeah, I too thought that sharks had to have a steady flow of water through their gills. I've seen footage of sharks lying apparently motionless on the bottom of caves, but there was actually a current running through the cave.

I read on Wikipedia that "Great White sharks have been shown to be not as responsive as other species whenever tonic immobility has been attempted."
Yeah, I'd love to see some footage of THAT little experiment!

I can't help but notice that the diver actually doing this is still wearing a chain-mail diving suit...

I also wondered about the suit. It doesn't seem like that would protect much if a shark really wants a bite. But maybe it makes the diver taste awful?

As for word usage, let it be. I am always in awe of people who write in more than one language.

Well since you are Mr.Sarcasm, you obviously meant that I'm not very observant and that I'm not a jackass.
