The Brooklyn Superhero Supply Company is part of 826 National, a nonprofit tutoring, writing, and publishing organization with locations in seven cities in the US.
The store is a front - the tutoring workshops take place in the rear of the space. The San Francisco chapter (826 Valencia), for example, is a pirate supply store.
