Mowing With Goats

California Grazing provides holistic land management and brush and weed control through grazing. We can eliminate noxious weeds, restore native grasses, and address fire prevention through fuel load reduction.

Google is mowing with goats. A herder brought about 200 goats and they spend roughly a week at the Google headquarters, eating the grass and fertilizing at the same time.

I work in a large office building with a view of a golf course. I grew up in Long Island NY and I'm very familiar with farms. Don't like the smell of the goats, cows, etc when working or on lunch break, nor the look of an unkempt lawn.

To that end you can always us a real mower instead of a lawn mower. It can run on good ol' fashion leg power, you create a job or two , it has zero carbon emission and doesn't take a week to cut the lawn.

Just a little more practical than renting a herd of goats and dealing with their attitudes (yes, they're stubborn), crap (literally) and an unkempt lawn for a week or two.
