From Portugal To POTUS: The Truth About The President's Pooch


This week the White House welcomed a new member into the household, a six-month-old Portuguese water dog named Bo. Until that moment little was known about the breed.

Behind the shaggy good looks there lies a remarkable story of species survival. By the 1930s the dog was on the verge of extinction. Bo and his breed almost didn't make it at all.
