I haven't seen the Acadamy Awards ceremony last night but I'm absolutely sure some actor or actress made a spectacle of themselves. You know, a lot of crying, overacting, and a thousand 'thank you's'.

Cuba Gooding's speech was great at the time. With every year that goes by without his career being the stellar thing that seemed promised to us that night, the speech just gets sadder and sadder.
I don't understand what was embarrassing about Halle Barry's speech. I thought it was emotional and heartfelt... not embarrassing in the slightest.
