Fossils Of Giant Snake Discovered

Rocks beneath a coal mine in Colombia have yielded fossils of what could be the world's largest snake, a relative of today's boa constrictor. The giant snake ate crocodiles and was longer than a London bus.

It weighed 1.25 tonnes and with a length of 45 feet or more it would have been able to take on and eat pretty much any other animal it came across.

There's actually a snake living in captivity right now that's 50ft. Which, is about the same size as this so-called "giant snake". :P
