Surfing The Net Is Great For The Mind


Scientists at the UCLA Semel Institute Memory & Aging Center have found that using the Internet increases neural activity in the brain - and triggers key centers in control decision-making and complex reasoning. The findings demonstrate that a good surf through the net may improve brain function.

I suspect it may be a quantity not quality improvement! Having just spent a couple of hours surfing different blogs, I gotta think that looking at pictures of puppies dressed in tuxedos and reading tirades about how mean Simon Cowell is doesn't really do humanity much good in the long run.
