She hopefully is cleaning the litter boxes many many times a day. Cat urine is the worst. And that is no way to feed cats. This is a horrible situation for them, they are like rats in a cage, they need their space or they go nuts! Obviously they are her passion, hobby and life, and yes, obsession, she has no time to do anything else!
A good friend of mine has 30 cats in a 1200m2 castle and it already feels full and parts of it smell rather impressively in the summer. They'd not take on any more cats until they have more resources to look after them properly.
Taking in 30 stray cats to live in a castle and its land is humane. 130 cats in an apartment is worse than the horrible lives we put battery hens through.
