Sametime 7:15

Sametime 7:15 is a collaborative web-based project of images and text made each night at 7:15 pm. Sametime 7:15 includes artists Michael Lease, Kate MacDonnell, Bryan Martin, Jesse Sommerlatt, Brad Walker, and Soung Wiser and continues to be a personal, honest, and consistent document of day-to-day life.


The work, accessed from it's own website, is bright, clear, straightforward, smart and hopeful. Like films made under the auspices of the Danish film collective Dogme 95, the project contains no gratuitous sex or violence, no technical trickery, does not elevate any one artist over the others, and strives to steer clear of photographic tropes and cliches.
At its best, Sametime 7:15 looks to the ordinary to find the miraculous and transcendent.
