Big Fat Lie

Exercise won't make us thin, carbohydrates are what cause obesity, and eating fat doesn't cause heart disease. As you pound the treadmill in the gym, consider this: what if someone told you it was all in vain? What if no amount of exercise will make you thinner, and everything we've been led to believe about exercise, diet and obesity is wrong?

This intriguing possibility has been raised by Gary Taubes, America's most controversial science writer and the author of a book called 'The Diet Delusion: Challenging the Conventional Wisdom on Diet, Weight Loss and Disease.'

Assuming that what Taubes said is true, and everything was just a lie. Well we can't blame everyone if we didn't get thin because our diet maybe is not perfect for us, or instead of losing weight, we gain inches with exercise because we might not be doing the proper crunches. I guess that the problem here is about eating too many calories. Ah, and what kind of calories you are taking in, without working out to sweat it out? It really make sense to me that exercise is needed here people, and a diet is no use without it. How many times do we have to be reminded that exercise is not only good for losing weight, but also good for our organs and well being. Start being responsible, especially to yourself.
